Designing and implementing cybersecurity systems: This includes developing security policies, procedures, and access controls. They will also select and install appropriate security software and hardware.
Monitoring and analyzing security systems: Cyber Security Engineers will monitor security systems to identify and respond to cyber threats. They will also analyze security data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Responding to security incidents: In the event of a security incident, Cyber Security Engineers will be responsible for investigating and restoring systems. They will also work to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.
Managing security vulnerabilities: Cyber Security Engineers will conduct vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate weaknesses in the organization's security systems.
Keeping up with the latest developments in cybersecurity: Cyber threats are constantly evolving, so Cyber Security Engineers need to stay up to date on the latest developments in cybersecurity. This includes reading industry publications, attending conferences, and taking training courses.
Collaborating with other teams: Cyber Security Engineers will work with other teams in the organization, such as the IT team and the legal team, to ensure that security systems are aligned with business needs.
REQUIREMENT
Bachelor's degree in system information / Related Field
Must possess CEH certification or an equivalent cybersecurity certification.
Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in the field of cybersecurity.
Demonstrated understanding of relevant ISO standards.
Capable of supporting both client and internal cybersecurity requirements.
