Understanding IKEA’s market, consumers, their living situations and use this to improve how customers meet IKEA range
Work with IKEA stores and IKEA of Sweden to use your knowledge of customers in the market, to ensure the customers’ home furnishing needs are reflected in the IKEA range now and in the future
Optimizing sales and gross margin and profit within certain Home Furnishing Businesses (HFB), support Country Sales Manager in developing and executing sales steering, selling the IKEA way, range grouping, pricing, range management and launches and reporting to Country Core Area Manager
Use the knowledge of the local market and competition to proactively secure the competitive advantage of IKEA products
See the stores through the eyes of customers and give constructive - honest feedback to the shopkeepers on how they can improve the shopping experience for the customers
Analyze individual store performance/customer feedback and use this information to identify good solutions and ideas for improving the IKEA easy buying & easy selling process. Giving best assistant to the shopkeepers in securing that customer will be able to Search, Find, Choose and Buy in order to sell more
Clearly communicate of business strategies and priorities to the shopkeepers in a way which motivates them to take ownership for their part in achieving the overall goals and the IKEA objectives
REQUIREMENT
High interest in people’s everyday life at home and home furnishing, passionate to work with many people
Experience of setting and implementing action plans, setting budgets and following up goals, experience of using knowledge of customer shopping behavior to develop and create a passion business plans
Broad knowledge of how to identify and realize opportunities for add-ons, cross-selling and up-selling of many products and services to fulfill customer needs in a retail environment, ability to develop knowledge of the local market and business decisions
Having good numerical skills with high attention to detail, having good analytical skills with high sense of commerciality, good understanding of business cycle and business ownership
Great leadership capabilities including ability to lead peers and stakeholders, communicate confidently and clearly in English in an inspirational way
