China Steel Global Trading Corporation (CSGT) is a trading and distribution business unit. It was established on April 2nd, 1996 with 100% investment from China Steel Corporation (CSC). CSC is the largest integrated steel mill in Taiwan, and exports all over the world, with emphasis in SouthEast Asia. CSGT is the export agent for steel and aluminum products of the CSC group (such as CSC, Dragon Steel, Chung Hung Steel, CSVC, CSCI and C.S. Aluminum etc.). CSGT plays a major role in the group’s globalization and diversification business development strategies in addition to its channel distribution. In recent years, CSGT has aggressively expanded outside of its core business in steel trading. Departments specializing in trading aluminum, stainless steel, refractories, ferro alloy, and work roll were created to cater to the expansion. The company also has an independent trade development unit.
