Calderys was born in 2005 from the merger between Plibrico International and Lafarge Refractories. Through the combination of these two giants of the refractory industry, our expertise stretches back over 100 years to the very first monolithic refractories.
During its over 100-year history, Calderys has broken down barriers to create a truly global refractory network spanning production plants, local labs, sales offices, engineering centres, external partners, and full-time workers on customer sites. As part of the global Imerys network, we are closely connected to the mining of raw materials for assured availability of our products.
