Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, debugging, and implementing software. Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications. Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software. Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Highly competent using JDBC, Javascript, Ajax, XML, HTML, etc. Develop documentation for application and code. Working with users and application stakeholders to verify and validate requirement. Working with other Java/Oracle Developers and DBA to collaborate onapplication development. Prescribe standards to simplify interpretation of programs and documentations as well as supervise the preparation of records and reports. Require detailed and comprehensive knowledge of employer's applications and systems. Possess a wide degree of creativity and latitude. Knowledge in writing packages/procedures for Java facing applications. Write database triggers, PL/SQL, and packages according to the business requirements. Experience with Java Spring framework highly desirable. Experience using standard SDLC methodologies. Agile/RAD preferred. Knowledge of good enterprise application development practices and architecture preferred. Good interpersonal and communication skills a plus. Nice to have experience with JSON and a Javascript framework such as jQuery, ExtJS, etc. Experience using Microsoft Office tools, understanding workflows and requirements/design documentation. Understanding of Weblogic server.
