DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN

Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling etc. Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc. including a thorough understanding of clamping and jigs. Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines. Must be familiar with active machining zones and loading zones. Set machines to complete automated cycles. Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result. Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly. Check and maintain machinery and tooling daily to ensure minimal down time.
REQUIREMENT

Proven experience as CNC operator. At least demonstrate knowledge of 3 axis machining. 5 axis experience would be an advantage. Thorough understanding of CAM coding. Experience with Siemens controllers would be an advantage. Some CAD experience with Catia would be an advantage. Skill in selection of tooling as well as precision measurement. Ability to read and interpret mechanical design documents and drawings. Mechanical aptitude and good math skills. Good communication abilities.
