This simple yet revolutionary concept became the foundation for the Talent Education Program created by Shinichi Suzuki. Talent Education is based on the idea that children are not born talented. Instead, talent is developed through immersion. Suzuki called this the “Mother Tongue” approach. He believed that students could learn to play the violin the same way they learn to speak their native language. This is the Suzuki Method, starting from variations of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star - a song which every Suzuki student will play.
