DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN

Manage the daily operations of the purchasing department, including order processing and contract negotiations Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimise inventory levels, reduce costs, and maintain a reliable supply chain Collaborate with other departments to accurately forecast demand and coordinate the timely delivery of materials Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and pricing, while maintaining strong relationships Monitor and analyse purchasing data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement process enhancements Oversee the maintenance of purchasing records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Provide training and guidance to purchasing team members to drive continuous development and efficiency
REQUIREMENT

Minimum 5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics industry Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, inventory control, and cost optimisation strategies Excellent negotiation and contract management skills with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships Proficient in data analysis and the use of enterprise resource planning (ERP) / SAP systems to generate reports and make informed decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field
