REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s degree or above in a technical or business fields At least 5-10 years working experience in business development, product management, or sales experience with PC OEM/ODM. Ideally 2-5 years of engagement experiences with IC companies in PC or home device applications. Strong communications skills (written and verbal) in Mandarin and English, with the ability to articulate complicated cases with succulent and easy-to-understand languages. Experience in IP (Intellectual Property), Business Administration, or Tax/Export Laws will be a plus. Occasional travel may be required for business or self-development purposes. Problem solver who can think and act strategically, while being able to balance the day-to-day tactical activities. Interests in entertainment, technology, music, and cinema would be an advantage. Understanding market momentum of Dolby technology in living room, cinema, automotive, PC and mobile. Based in Dolby’s Taipei office the Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving Dolby’s licensing business with PC OEMs and ODMs, and consumer focused semiconductor companies. The candidate must have in-depth understanding of the PC industry, including hardware/software knowledges, with a proven record driving adoption of 3rd party technologies into the industry. Ideally the candidate has a good understanding of the IC/OEM/ODM supply chain for the PC and the consumer market. As part of the role for the sales account manager the role will collaborate with various functional teams in different regions from business and product teams to licensing operations.
