Server Installation, Configuration and Management (Physical, Esxi and Virtual)
Backup and Recovery (Knowledge performing server backup and restoring procedure)
Server Maintenance and Monitoring (inclusive Robotic library).
Knowledge on DNS, DHCP, NLB (Window), AD and Forest knowledge, GPO, Terminal Server / RDS, Print Server, File Server, Symantec Veritas Backup and also Review and Server Patching activities for both physical and Virtual.
Microsoft Exchange managing user mailbox email, share mailbox analogy, manage user accounts and permissions in Exchange, Monitor Exchange server performance and ensure availability, Restore Exchange data from backups as needed,
Managing Active Directory objects related to Exchange, such as user accounts and distribution groups.
Working closely with other IT teams / support team to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to messaging services.
Administers, monitors, configures virtual or Guest host utilizing vCenter.
Routine Monitor system and application performance to detect errors in early stage.
Have project responsibilities.
Responsible for sharing 24 x 7 on call rotation duties with other team members.
REQUIREMENT
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is often preferred.
work experience in a similar role, often ranging from 2-3 years
Monitor the health and performance of all servers and PCs
Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Manage the daily operations of the corporate Windows servers, Windows PCs and network
Basic knowledge of server management and deployment (e.g., using AWS)
Professional Certification such as MSCE, MCA, MCP, VCA, VCP VCAP is added advantage
Setup and configure new MS Windows servers as required
