Firewall Operations:
Change management analysis firewall policy from centralize ticketing request, Perform continuous monitoring of firewall systems, conduct log reviews, troubleshoot traffic and connectivity issues, and execute scheduled maintenance such as patching, configuration backups, and rule optimization monitoring of firewall systems, implement approved rule changes, conduct log reviews, troubleshoot traffic and connectivity issues, and execute scheduled maintenance such as patching, configuration backups, and rule optimization.
Security Service Desk:
Manage and triage security-related requests and incidents, validate and resolve user security issues (access control, MFA, endpoint alerts), ensure adherence to SLAs, and escalate cases appropriately.
KEDB (Known Error Database) Management:
Maintain and update KEDB records, document known issues, workarounds, and root causes, and ensure accurate linking of recurring incidents for efficient resolution.
Technical Support :
Provide tiered technical support for security tools and infrastructure, perform detailed troubleshooting and analysis, escalate complex cases to higher support tiers, and assist with system updates, tuning, and security patching.
Ensure timely and effective resolution of operational and security-related issues.
Maintain comprehensive and accurate operational documentation.
REQUIREMENT
Have degree holder in IT related field ( it’s a must)
Willing to be working under shifting 24 x 7
At least 4 years experience in security operations or firewall administration
Knowledge of firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, etc.) and network protocols
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
Security certificate is a must , i.e: Palo Alto Fortinet, F5 etc in security area
Computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies
Basic system administration, network, and operating system hardening techniques
Networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP), services (e.g., web, mail, DNS), and how they interact to provide network communications
