1. Financial Reporting:
Oversee and ensure the preparation and consolidation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting principles and regulatory standards.
Analyse and interpret financial results, preparing comprehensive reports and presentations for management
Liaise with external and internal auditors and ensure a smooth audit process.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business growth and cost optimization.
Develop financial models and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance.
Work closely with the senior management to align financial planning and cost efficiency.
3. Finance Operations Improvement:
Evaluate and enhance finance operations, procedures, and policies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives within the finance function.
4. Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
Set clear performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and support professional development.
Ensure the team delivers high-quality work within established deadlines.
5. Strategic Contribution:
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that align with organizational objectives.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business initiatives, investments, and risk management.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in financial practices.
6. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Accuracy and reliability of budget forecasts and financial analyses.
Alignment of budgets with financial statements and company goals.
Timeliness and quality of financial reports.
Improvement in financial processes, cost savings and stakeholder satisfaction.
REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, a master’s degree (e.g., MBA) or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is highly preferred.
Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role in pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.
Extensive experience in Corporate Finance, Financial Planning, and Analysis
Proven expertise in financial reporting under US GAAP and IFRS, including technical accounting and compliance.
Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standards and their practical application; Expert-level proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis techniques; Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
