DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN
Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
Ensure the timely restocking of materials and supplies.
Staff Supervision:
Supervise a team of warehouse associates and assist in training and development.
Allocate daily tasks to warehouse staff based on priorities.
Ensure staff follows safety procedures and maintains a clean working environment.
Logistics and Order Fulfillment:
Oversee the receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
Ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately and within set time frames.
Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement or sales, to manage order flows.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and warehouse safety standards.
Conduct regular safety inspections of the warehouse.
Implement safety procedures to minimize accidents and injuries.
Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) is in proper working condition.
Oversee repairs and maintenance as needed.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of all warehouse transactions.
Prepare and submit regular reports on stock levels, order fulfillment, and warehouse activities.
REQUIREMENT
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a warehouse assistant manager or in a supervisory role.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required.
Good understanding of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, or related field (preferred).
Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics (at least 2–3 years).
Working Conditions:
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, if needed.
Regular physical activity, including lifting and standing for long periods.
