DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN

Translate requirements and mockups into fully functioning features using JavaScript and HTML/CSS Continuously look for ways to improve Backstreet Academy’s platform and implement A/B tests Take ownership of sections of Backstreet Academy’s desktop, tablet and mobile web sites Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability Continuously initiate conversations around solutions that are focused around improving the platform to make it world class! Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into the development process
REQUIREMENT

Expert understanding of core front-end web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) Experience with JavaScript libraries such as JQuery Experience troubleshooting cross-browser compatibility issues Experience with data-driven product development: analytics, A/B testing, etc Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus. Empathy for the end user Experience with templating languages Ability to write high-performance, reusable code Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / Mercurial / SVN Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
