Secara pro-aktif berkomunikasi dengan Lead Programmer baik mengenai kebutuhan aplikasi, proses programming, serta kesesuaian jadwal. Membenahi bug-bug yang ditemukan pada aplikasi selama masa garansi. Supporting tester pada saat testing aplikasi dan melakukan bug fixing pada bug/error yang ditemukan oleh tester, untuk proses ini akan dilakukan oleh programmer khusus yang ditugaskan sebagai bug fixer. Melakukan perancangan database untuk aplikasi yang baru masuk, atau melakukan perancangan modifikasi/penambahan tabel untuk aplikasi yang sudah ada jika memang dibutuhkan, untuk proses ini akan dilakukan oleh programmer khusus yang ditugaskan sebagai database designer.
