DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN

Liaise with suppliers and vendors to source and procure materials and goods required for our operations Manage the import process, including coordinating with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and other relevant parties Ensure timely delivery of imported materials and goods, and maintain accurate records of all procurement activities Collaborate with the Logistics and Inventory teams to align procurement strategies with business needs Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in the procurement function Assist with the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures Provide regular reports and updates on the status of procurement activities
REQUIREMENT

Relevant degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field Minimum 1 year of experience in a Purchasing or Procurement role, preferably with exposure to import-related processes Strong understanding of procurement principles, import regulations, and customs clearance procedures Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills Proficient in using procurement software and tools Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing priorities Active in English. About the role We are seeking a diligent and proactive Purchasing (Staff Import) to join our team at PT. New Hope Indonesia Branch Makassar in Makassar, South Sulawesi. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials and goods required for our operations, with a focus on import-related processes and procedures.
