DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN

The engineer is expected to be involved in lots of interactions with multiple ISPs for circuit level issues, also with vendors like Cisco/Juniper/Arista to get the faulty hardware replaced. Weekend on-call duty is also part of job rotation. The engineer must possess a high skillset in troubleshooting physical layer 1 issues. Must know about troubleshooting in optical modules and perform soft and hard loop test in coordination with the remote hand support. The engineer must also possess basic knowledge about routing protocols such as BGP/ISIS.
REQUIREMENT

Involve in Physical Layer Level Troubleshooting – LAN/WAN (Link Flap/Down/Errors) Involve in troubleshooting using Loopback Testing including Soft and Hard Loop Testing Daily interactions with the Vendor (Multiple ISPs/ Facility Provider/ SH) and with Datacenter Engineer Liaise with Vendors (Cisco/Arista/Juniper) for getting Faulty Hardware RMA in minimum time Maintain the SLA of live Tickets and ensure the Network Uptime to be maximum Only 3-5 years experience required Network deployment and troubleshooting experience with Cisco, Juniper RMA Coordination with vendors Experience in NoC Support Inventory Management Circuit test and turn-up within DC/PoP Telco experience and/or Telco vendor management Network data port testing and turn-up Data and Optical provisioning Network device and protocol configuration Performance Management/Troubleshooting Linux OS basic skills including ssh, telnet, ftp skills Certifications - preferred
