DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN

Our Client is looking for outstanding dispute resolution lawyers to join them as an associate or senior associates. Candidates' areas of practice could be in general commercial litigation, building and construction arbitration, banking, admiralty or company law and securities. Provides a full range of legal, estate planning and private trust services, including will writing, private trust set-up, estate and trust administration Manage a portfolio of cases to advise, structure, draft and administer clients' wills and trusts Required to deal with all administrative aspects of their portfolio of clients, dealing directly with clients and their advisors and family where relevant To manage all legal matters affecting the Company To review and drafting of legal contracts/agreements/ documentation to ensure compliance with the law and regulatory requirement Company legal document control e.g. registration of company official document Legal consulting desk & coordinate with Law Firms in any company business related issue. Legal update eg. New legal, legal revision Coordinating internal audit, risk management, corporate governance activities Ensure governance and adherence to process Serve as document controller for all written procedures, documentation and any records used in the company Develop, initiate, maintain, and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct. Manages day-to-day operation of the program. Perform internal audits and implement risk management program. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Administration & Human Resources) to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution. Consult with the company lawyer as needed to resolve difficult legal compliance issues. Act as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved. Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develops/implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provides general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future. Provide reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, to keep senior management informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts. Monitor the performance of the Compliance Program and relates activities on a continuing basis, taking appropriate steps to improve its effectiveness. Any ad-hoc legal and compliance matters as and when required.
REQUIREMENT

Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in law or any equivalent At least 3 years related working experience in the trading working environment is preferable. Knowledge in Commercial Law, Company Tax Knowledge of MITI, SIRIM, CUSTOM would be an added advantage Experience to work in multitasking and face spaced support environment. Good written and spoken in English. Others languages will be an advantage. Computer Literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Others). Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proactive and able to work independently. High commitment to complete the task within deadline. Fresh graduate with Degree in Law is encouraged to apply
