DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN

Manage and maintain the availability, performance, and security of our database systems. Support database design, creation, and testing activities to meet organizational requirements. Perform routine database housekeeping tasks, including performance tuning, indexing, and optimization. Monitor database usage, transaction volumes, response times, and concurrence levels. Design and implement database backup, archiving, and storage strategies. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and problems, ensuring minimal downtime. Create and maintain database standards and policies to ensure consistency and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and optimize database structures. Participate in on-call rotations to address any database-related issues during off-hours. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database administration.
REQUIREMENT

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience 2 years working as a Database Administrator. Install, create maintenance and configure Database (postgre, mySQL, MSSQL Server) Responsible for implementing database security, especially user access Monitor database performance, Tuning, reorganizing database and optimizing queries. Test the database restore to another place to ensure the backup files are ready to restore. Plan and implement database upgrades for critical or mandatory patches. Troubleshooting database problems. Ensure that the integration solution between databases can run well according to user needs. Create documentation starting from the installation process, backup and recovery procedures to the troubleshooting process Weekly report on the condition of the database, and calculate CPU, Memory and Disk Resource requirements as well as Database License Requirements Installation, configure, knowledge about Monggo DB Have experience in operating Veritas Net Backup.
