DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN
Machinery Selection:
Evaluate and select die-cutting machinery based on project requirements and production capacity.
Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate terms and ensure optimal performance of machinery.
Maintain and troubleshoot machinery to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operation.
Design and Prototyping:
Utilize CAD software to design and prototype die-cut cardboard packaging solutions.
Work closely with the design team to develop innovative and functional packaging designs.
Create and modify die-lines for various packaging projects.
Material Selection and Testing:
Assess and recommend appropriate cardboard materials based on project specifications.
Conduct material testing and analysis to ensure quality, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
Knowledge of lamination and printing processes.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in cardboard materials.
Process Optimization:
Continuously improve die-cutting processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Implement best practices to maximize production output while maintaining product quality.
Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
Liaise with internal and external manufacturing partners.
Quality Assurance:
Establish and maintain quality control standards for die-cut cardboard products.
Conduct quality inspections and testing to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
Implement corrective actions as needed to address quality issues.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of machinery maintenance, material specifications, and design iterations.
Generate reports on production efficiency, material usage, and quality metrics.
Provide regular updates to management on project status and improvements.
REQUIREMENT
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in die-cut cardboard engineering, machinery selection, and materials science, preferably in the packaging industry.
Proficiency in CAD software for design and die-line creation preferable but not essential.
Strong knowledge of cardboard materials, their properties, and sustainability considerations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills both spoken and written (English)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with quality control standards and testing procedures.
Stationed in our Shenzhen factory, can work independently and able to travel Oversea on equipment commissioning, testing and conduct training.
